Why Cleanse?
When you do a cleanse, you are going to get rid of the toxic build-up that’s currently in your body, these toxins may influence the way you feel and function every day. The aim is to move you into a healthier state so that your metabolism speeds up, you burn fat faster, and feel healthier. By cleansing, you move toward healthy body weight and increased vitality. It's Wellness Wednesday, so I thought I would talk about sleep. Let's be honest, we are a mess without it!
I highly recommend splurging on a high quality mattress, mine is Sterns & Foster. High thread count sheets are a must and can be found at a discount at the sister stores (Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Home Goods). You can make your own lavender spray, using lavender essential oil, I am not a snob about brands of oils as long as they are therapeutic grade. If you don't want to toss and turn all night, take a few minutes to dump your brain and jot down what you are grateful for. I personally do not like any electronics in the bedroom (TV, digital alarm clock, computers, etc.) and try not to use them for 15-20 minutes before lights out. I have a ceiling fan that I leave on and I like the windows open, cooler the better for me, and as dark as possible. That is my recipe for a good nights sleep, what's yours? Give it a try, I guarantee you will be challenged! What to do when the fish keep fighting? Well, the whole idea of the aquarium was to create a calm work environment, but the damn angel fish fight non-stop! Even the shark can't break it up. Any ideas?
