Here's a short Video that highlights Old town and the Scottsdale Mall/ Civic Center area. As a kid this is where some of our friends lived, when there were still streets and houses where the mall and Civic Center now sit.
Who knew that Scottsdale had a museum of contemporary art? The museum featured a fantastic light room that was filled with 8,000 lights on strings that were synched to light up in patterns and colors. We also saw an exhibit of contemporary Australian Aboriginal Women artists fro all across Australia.
Scottsdale Arizona bills itself as the West's most Western Town. Old Town Scottsdale has retained most of its rustic roots with many of shops there still being run by the descendants of the original owners. For sure if you're looking for a pair of the latest cowboy boots you can find them here at Saba's Western Store. You won't find a better selection of Arizona Indian Art anywhere else. Visit the historic district of Old Town and take a trip back in time hipster style
Beijing has a great subway system that goes pretty much everywhere you need to go. Traffic is pretty much horrible all the time. Depending on distance you can go most places around metro Beijing for 5 RMB or less than a dollar. China also has the largest high speed train system in the world. You can travel from Shenzen in the South to Beijing in about 11 hours.
We also visited the Garden of the Gods Nature Park in Colorado Springs. Colorado has beautiful red rocks just like Sedona.
This week I went to Denver to visit my sister and we had a nice family reunion as both my brothers and mother were there visiting as well. We visited many cool places in the Denver and surrounding area. There is no shortage of beautiful scenery in Colorado.

This may be the poshest hot pot restaurant you'll see, certainly fancier that any I've seen here in the U.S. Each party gets a well furnished private room complete with private restroom, wide screen TV, sofa and sitting area for relaxing in between courses.
